Anish is a firm believer in the "India growth story" and feels that innovative tech-driven business models will be at the fore-front of accelerating GDP growth in India.

He is excited to partner with founders who are focused on solving challenging and long-standing problems by adopting an India-specific approach.

Journey

Anish comes from a defence background and has lived across multiple cities in India, and cherishes the exposure he received early-on in interacting with a wide range of people spanning different cultures, states and linguistic backgrounds.

Anish started his career at McKinsey and Company as a consultant, where he worked primarily in the digital and analytics practice. He was involved in multiple large scale digital transformations where he drove impact for clients by leveraging advanced analytics. He was also instrumental in helping set up Analytics Centres of Excellence at his client organizations for accelerating the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies.

He had a short stint with Goldman Sachs in their India investment banking franchise and was covering Banks, NBFCs and the E-commerce space. He also interned with Nomura where he worked closely with the senior management team to devise strategies for driving growth and profitability for the wholesale banking business.

He holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, where he graduated as the Gold medallist of his batch. He was also awarded the prestigious OPJEMS Scholarship for academic and leadership excellence. Outside of work, he loves playing badminton, reading about visionary business leaders and is an ardent follower of cricket.
