Journey
Anurag has been fortunate to have worked at some of the best companies in the world and has gained diverse experience, from being a hands on operator, product manager to a strategy consultant across multiple industries, solving for the key gaps and building for the biggest growth opportunities.
Anurag joined Z47 (fka Matrix Partners India) from Amazon, where he led product and business for building credit and lending products for small and medium businesses including for sellers on the marketplace, merchants on AmazonPay and Amazon Business customers.
Prior to Amazon, Anurag led the global digital transformation for various processes in the procurement and supply chain functions at Unilever with a remit to bringing them into the 21stcentury.
Anurag had started his post MBA career at BCG, where as a consultant he worked across multiple practice areas including Industrial goods, Financial Services, smart city & mobility, across both strategy and long term implementation projects.
Anurag holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a B-Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. In his free time, he likes playing Tennis, reading books (across genres) and travelling.
